The initial assessment for children is individually determined and may include a combination of educational psychology/clinical psychology assessment with one of our psychologists as well as comprehensive paediatric/psychiatric evaluation with our paediatrician taking several hours. Adults coming for assessment will be seen for up to two hours by Mr Humphrey, the Centre’s Clinical Psychologist. He assesses the personality profile, the environmental and general issues involved, may undertake cognitive evaluation and look at various rating scales to fully assess the difficulties.
